Ninefold Solitaire

Privacy policy

Effective 5 November 2026

In short: Ninefold Solitaire does not collect any data about you. It has no advertising, no tracking, no analytics, no accounts and no marketing. Your game stays on your iPhone.

Who we are

Ninefold Solitaire is published by Ninefold Games, a trading name of Xylo (UK) Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07323863). Our registered office is Unit R08 Regent Works, Chatfield Place, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 1LZ, United Kingdom.

This policy covers the Ninefold Solitaire app for iPhone and this website's Solitaire pages. When we say "we" or "us", we mean Xylo (UK) Ltd.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app contains no code that sends information to us or to anyone else. Specifically, Ninefold Solitaire:

  • does not show advertising or include any advertising software;
  • does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not use your device's advertising identifier;
  • does not include any third-party analytics, crash-reporting or marketing software;
  • does not have accounts, sign-in or a mailing list;
  • does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal information.

What stays on your iPhone

To let you put the game down and pick it up later, the app saves a small amount of information on your iPhone only:

  • your current hand and recent moves, so it can resume and undo;
  • your settings, such as one-card or three-card draw and tap-to-move;
  • a record of your most recent completed hands and their scores, for the Progress screen.

We never see this information. It is included in your iPhone's normal backups, which are controlled by you and Apple, and it is removed when you delete the app.

Information Apple may share with us

The app itself does not collect diagnostic or usage data. Separately, Apple runs its own diagnostics on iPhones. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may provide us with crash reports and aggregated statistics about how the app is used, such as the number of installs.

This information is collected by Apple, not by Ninefold, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. It does not include your name, email address or Apple Account details. We use it only to find and fix problems in the app. You can turn this sharing off at any time in the same settings.

If you join a beta test

If you test a pre-release version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares with us the information TestFlight provides to developers. This can include the name and email address you were invited with, plus any feedback, screenshots and crash reports you choose to send. We use this only to run the beta and improve the app.

Purchases

The App Store handles all purchases. We do not receive your payment details.

If you contact us

If you email support@xylouk.co.uk, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and help you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in supporting our customers. We keep it only as long as needed for that, and we never add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else.

This website

These Solitaire pages use no cookies, analytics or tracking. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for a short period for security and to keep the site running.

Children

Ninefold Solitaire is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over any personal information we hold about you, including the right to access it, correct it or ask us to delete it. In practice, the only personal information we are likely to hold is a support email you have sent us. To make a request, email support@xylouk.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the effective date above before that version is released.
